Dustin Majewski graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2008 with a BFA in Film and Video, with a special focus in Post Production. Dustin has had the privilege of working with many filmmakers in just about every position available including lighting, sound, editing, titling, directing, and producing. Dustin has worked with several organizations such as Frequency Television and Foundation Content as a cinematographer, editor, and Web developer. His interest in the technical aspects of film has provided him the tools necessary to create films that focus on his passion, the human condition. He is driven to create by a deep-seeded need to contemplate. He is interested in what he calls the mantra-like quality of viewing films, especially those in which the filmmaker refines a melody throughout the film, causing the viewer to experience and understand things in a new way. Dustin is interested in capturing the rawness of reality refined. Through the magic of filmmaking, or creating focus through escape, he believes one can shine a light into a subject's life, guiding the viewer through the deepest reaches of a subject's soul as well as their own. Through film, Dustin would like to create new worlds for people to experience, capturing moments that allow people to revel in their own beauty.
